Celia has over 20 years of human resources business partnering experience covering several sub-categories of the life sciences industry. She joins Liquidia after recent engagements with Ribometrix, Mainstay Medical Group and Acadia Pharmaceuticals.  Prior to those engagements, she was Executive Vice President, Corporate – Human Resources at Biotix Holdings, Inc. where she spent 13 years building the company from a product development through product launch, and ultimately its acquisition by Mettler-Toledo in 2017 where her role focused on people development and culture. Celia has experience in all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, benefits and compensation, people development and training, performance management and more. Prior to Biotix, Celia held biopharma HR roles with Roche, Millipore-Sigma, Serologicals Corporation, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Dey Laboratories, and others. Celia, who is originally from El Salvador, Central America, is a graduate from Spencer College (B.S.) in El Salvador and, over the course of her career, has enhanced her education and training in human resources and life sciences at institutions including School of Anderson, UCLA; University of California; Institute of Applied Management and Law; Kennesaw State University and San Francisco State University.
